YCIS Silicon Valley middle schoolers visited sister-school Yew Wah International Education School of Tongxiang, China for two weeks in October. Connecting East and West, students were excited to stay in the dorms and experience school life in China. They made friends, participated in classes, enjoyed Founder’s Day and visited markets and other sights in and around Tongxiang and Shanghai. The students also had the opportunity to visit YCIS Shanghai for a day before the journey home.
