Did you see YCIS’s tree at the Mountain View Christmas Tree Walk? The tree featured animals around the world with hand-painted ornaments created by YCIS elementary students.

YCIS was one of several schools and local organizations selected by the City of Mountain View to decorate a tree for the annual Tree Lighting Celebration event near Civic Center. On December 3, a group of YCIS parents, students and staff joined Principal Crystal Vaught to decorate the tree. With teamwork, and a little treat of apple cider and candy canes, the job was accomplished in no time at all. YCIS is proud to share our student’s art with our community and to spread a little holiday cheer!
