Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

Games, treats and fellowship were enjoyed by all who attended the annual YCIS Mid-Autumn Moon Festival on September 22. Over 500 YCIS families, staff, alumni and friends gathered together to celebrate this 3,000 year old festival. Teachers offered games, crafts and activities for all ages including a moon cake making station, chalk art, face painting, a bean bag toss, archery and more.  Children filled up passports for activities to win a tea egg prize!  YCIS middle school students entertained guests with Chinese poetry and songs. The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important cultural holidays in China and a tradition YCIS celebrates as part of our East-West school community life.
